The Health System of Taiwan: HCT Healthcare of Many Nations

Every once in a while, we like to take a moment and focus on health systems around the world. Today, we’re looking at Taiwan, which made the transition to a single payer system kind of suddenly, and pretty recently.

What Americans dont understand about Public Healthcare

Public Healthcare, or as Americans call it: Social Healthcare, is an issue of contention almost every single U.S election. And the 2020 presidential elections won’t be any different. Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker, Elisabeth Warren, and Bill de Blasio already voiced their support during Democratic primaries. However, what every election cycle in the United States also has in common is that the candidates who support public healthcare never actually present any plans for how the system would work or what it would even look like. Additionally, many American advocates of public healthcare don’t seem to know much about the social sacrifices, reforms and additional health measures that come with public healthcare to ensure a healthy society. In this video that will be discussed and several American misconceptions about public healthcare will be talked about.

Hallo everyone (Zusammen),

In today’s video, I will be taking all about Germany’s healthcare systems. Germany is known to have one of the best health care systems in the world, which is great for all of you who are looking to move to Germany and work in Germany!

In this video I will explain the 3 different health care insurance that you can get:

1. Public Health Care Insurance (GKV)
2. Voluntary Public Health Care Insurance
3. Private Health Care Insurance (PKV)

I personally use Public Health care Insurance under die Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) and have had no issues with them. They provide customer service in English and have always addressed any questions I have quickly. I would highly recommend checking them out 🙂 If you want to learn more and see if you qualify to be with them, you can visit: https://signuptk.de/?source=dianaverry

It’s been a while since we’ve done an international health care system episode. We thought you might need a break. That break ends now. Australia has the only continental, universal health care system, and it’s topic of this week’s Healthcare Triage.

Healthcare in Singapore

Singapore is a small city-state that likely isn’t as well known to you as some of the other countries we’ve discussed before. But they’ve got one of the most fascinating health care systems around. It’s cheap, it’s pretty much universal, and it achieves some amazingly strong outcomes. It’s also much different in structure than other systems we’ve covered before. Watch and learn – you’ll be glad you did.

If you want to learn more, there’s pretty much only one book you need to read. It’s short, it’s awesome, and it’s still free in Kindle format. It’s called Affordable Excellence: The Singapore Health System, and you can get a copy here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CDUS7WS/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00CDUS7WS&linkCode=as2&tag=dotswyogu-20

Switzerland’s Healthcare Explained!

Switzerland! It’s a gorgeous alpine nation of 8 million people. It’s a parliamentary republic made up of 26 cantons. I’ve never been, but I hear great things about it. The country should free to fly us over so we can learn even more. But what I do know about its healthcare system, I’ll be telling you in this episode of Healthcare Triage.
