Obmapoppy in Obama Care: Being PC'D "To Death"

Yes, I read (perused, that's all you can bear) the health care bill. 12 hours later, after catching my breath, I had a summary thought of the bill. The bill mentions uniformity, risk corridors, frailty adjustments, (DSH) Disproportionate Share Hospitals (really!), Reasonable break time for nursing mothers, level playing field, protections for frontier states (of course they do not mention which states are "frontier states "), federal poverty level, and the National Centers for EXCELLENCE in Depression. Of course my favorite is Section 5602, the "Negotiated Rulemaking for Development of Methodology and Criteria for Designating Medicically Underserved Populations and Health Professions Shortage Areas." My thought was, "would not Ackroyd, Belushi, Curtain, Radner, Murray, et al. Chomp at the bit to have had this diatribe to dissect?

My second thought was, one person (at a time) is writing this legislation that is supposed to be fair for 310 million Americans. How is THAT possible? The Progressives and liberals in Congress are fixated on trying to legislate fairness. Some person had to arbitrarily figure out what is "fair." For instance, the bill now says that children can stay on their parents' health care until age 26. Why should that age not be 27, 28, or 23? Who decided that age 26 is "fair"? Also, for a small employer to qualify for the tax credit for employee paid health insurance benefits, the small business can not have more than 25 employees. This…
