MINNEAPOLIS–()–With a 2015 federal deadline for health care facilities to go paperless,

informatics has become one of the fastest growing careers in health

care. To help meet that demand, Capella University is launching five new

online informatics programs that focus on the use of data and technology

in health care settings to improve individual patient outcomes and

MHA in Health Care Informatics aligns with NCHL and CPHIMS

Capella’s competency-based curriculum for the master’s in Health Care

Informatics and the Health Care Informatics certificate is built around

relevant, real-world health care problems to ensure students gain the

skills they need to take leadership roles in such areas as

implementation of Electronic Health Records (EHR). Compliance with
